I'm Deven Gambrell, founder of Kasper Tools. For nine years I've administered, automated, and governed Atlassian environments inside large organizations—and I started Kasper Tools to bring that same enterprise-grade rigor to teams who want real, measurable value from their Atlassian investment.
Raised in the Greenville, South Carolina area, I’ve always been fascinated by how systems work and how small improvements can create a big impact. That curiosity led me into a career in technology, where I’ve spent years working across database administration, IT operations, cloud technologies, reporting, automation, and enterprise systems.
While my career spans multiple areas of technology, I’ve spent the last nine years specializing in the Atlassian ecosystem. During that time, I’ve helped organizations design, administer, and optimize Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Assets, and the integrations that connect them. My experience is supported by multiple industry certifications, including Atlassian credentials, AWS certifications, and Linux certifications.
What I enjoy most isn’t simply configuring software—it’s solving problems. Whether it’s eliminating manual work through automation, improving service delivery, or helping leadership gain better visibility into their operations, I enjoy creating solutions that make work simpler and more effective. That philosophy ultimately became the foundation of Kasper Tools.
Nine-plus years of enterprise-scale, in-production experience — plus the technical and business context to apply it well.
